J arms are necessary when mounting a PVS night vision monocular and OptixNow optical devices to your helmet. This model utilizes a dovetail mounting system compatible with G24 style helmet mounts. You can either utilize this as a dual arm mount for two night vision devices or a single arm for your OptixNow monoculars.
This high quality unit can be perfectly adjusted to the users preferences and tightened down with the included allen wrench to ensure your preferences are saved and ready for rapid deployment.
We recommend pairing this item with our G1X, G2XS and G2X monoculars for maximum adjustability and adjustment. Having 4 arms with different lengths ensures you can find the desired user preferences and comfort.
Also available for separate purchase,
- Improved 1/4-20 thumb screw. This can be used in the place of the flathead screws that are originally included. These upgraded screws make it easier to attach your device to the j arm.
- Clip hook. This clip attaches to the back of the J arm, and allows your helmet bungee cords to pull the J arm towards your face, reducing the wobble between components.
